My journey into birth work began with my own experience of becoming a mother. After my first son, Bowen, was born in 2019, I picked up a camera with the hope of becoming a work-from-home mom and capturing the tender, fleeting moments that define family life. What started as a creative dream quickly became a calling. I fell in love with newborn photography while I was pregnant with Bowen and have spent countless hours learning the art of posing, props, and newborn safety. Today, I specialize in maternity, newborn, milestone, and family photography — documenting families in their most meaningful seasons.

After the birth of my third baby, I fell in love with placenta encapsulation and keepsake art. I chose to have my own placenta encapsulated, and it completely changed my postpartum experience. I felt stronger, more balanced, and deeply connected to my body. Admiring the organ that grew my baby was awe-inspiring, and it opened my heart to supporting other women in the same way.

Now, at Seattle Birth Co., I get to combine my passions — capturing the beauty of new life and honoring the incredible strength of mothers. Whether I’m photographing your family or carefully preparing your placenta, I do it with love, intention, and deep respect for the sacred journey of birth and motherhood.
