Hannah Fisher
Birth Doula
I believe every birth deserves patience, intention, and emotional safety. As both a parent and a birth professional, I understand the meaningful changes, challenges, and joys that accompany pregnancy, birth, and the transition into parenthood. My mission is to support families so they feel informed, confident, and genuinely cared for throughout this transformative journey.
Professionally, I spent over six years at Overlake Hospital’s childbirth center, collaborating closely with nurses, midwives, and medical providers to support families. This experience gave me insight into how births unfold in hospital settings and how to create steady, supportive environments for families, especially those navigating higher-risk pregnancies.
I offer compassionate, reliable, hands-on support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period, always guided by your comfort and preferences. I enjoy incorporating physiologic techniques, such as Spinning Babies, to help the baby navigate the pelvis, encourage descent, and enhance comfort. My approach combines patience with purposeful, practical strategies tailored to each family’s needs.
Before entering birth work, I spent nearly a decade in hospitality, where I honed the ability to read a room, anticipate needs, and remain grounded in unpredictable situations. These skills translate naturally to birth support, where presence, adaptability, and trust are essential.
Whether guiding you through labor, collaborating with your care team, or helping you settle in after your baby’s arrival, my goal is simple: to ensure you feel informed, supported, and genuinely cared for at every stage of your journey.
